Re: Matchmaking
Dear Client,
we do receive regularly request from potential clients asking us to introduce lady's in the Philippines with an in interest in marriage. Most unfortunately we do not entertain this kind of request. Likewise we also do not arrange sex partners.
Anyway and for the benefits of first time travelers just a few hint's how to go about it*.
Manila used to have a vibrant night live in the "Tourist belt", Ermita .This has mostly dissapert when a new major was introduced and most establishments shifted to Passay (which is apparently under someone else's jurisdiction) also there are many entertainment venues in Makati & Quezon City. Anyway most "Girley bars seem to be in Passay. The deal there normally is like this: Virtually all the girls in front of the counter (and very likely also behind) are available and can be taken home. The bar expects you to pay a "Bar fine" Which can be anything from Pesos 250.- upwards (about A$ 7.-) For some reason bars frequented by foreigners seems to be cheaper in this respect than the one catering for local clients, but the drinks are usually more. Naturally the girls expect a tip for a one night stand (About Pesos 1000.- or A$ 25.- seems to be reasonable) Be careful if the girl ask for money up front since this is not customary.
If you do not like a bargirl try L.A.Cafe in M.H. Del Pilar in Malate (It's where Blue Hawaii used to be) here you can find a large variety of all kinds of girls from freelance prostitutes to company secretary's and most of them looking to meet someone. If you come after 9 pm the place can be packed with a ratio of about 5 girls to one male customer. Naturally no bar fine here. Clients reported that you can pick up a girl here in less than 5 minutes if you are in a hurry. There is also a similar establishment in Makati but unfortunately our client forgot the name. Cost of drinks are reasonable.
The mall at the "Harrison Plaza Shopping complex" in Malate is also a famous place where foreigners get picked up by local girls.
Someone reported the large "Flagpole" in front of the Manila Hotel in Luneta park but we need further information to verify.
Taking your new friend to your hotel should not be a problem but most hotels would charge an extra fee which could be substantial and is a rip off since usually the room rates are the same if single or double if booked up front. If you know on arrival that your friend "is arriving later" let the reception know to avoid problems later. Likewise if you pre book your room let us know that you will require a double and we will take care of it. Clients reported the "Manila Hotel" is fussy.
Re: Angeles City (used to be called the Sin Capital of Asia) has mostly lost it's glory. Clients report a dull situation there with empty bars and not much happening. Careful clients report being robbed, mugged and cheated. Best stay away.
In all other parts of the country as k the doorman of your hotel for local advice.
Security warning: Do not accept drinks from strangers, do not accept invitations to gamble.
Stay away from Children & under aged girls. Careful some girls may look 18 but are only 15 etc.
Please let us know if you have any useful information which can be added here.
On marriage if you are serious about it ask any Philippino friends or co- workers etc. you may know.
Most may have close or distant t relatives in the Philippines and may be able to recommend someone to contact.
Some clients reported successful dealings with an Sydney based introduction agency: Date with Asia at
www.datewithasia.com they seems to have on file a large number of young lady's particularly from the Cebu area.
